Grilled pork chops glazed with pineapple and turmeric is an excellent combination of flavour and health. Throughly cooked chops with a perfect sauce makes upto a healthy and delicious meal. A great addition to your pregnancy diet.
Ingredients

dijon mustard | 3 | tbsp | |
red pepper flakes | 1 | tsp | |
ground turmeric | 1.5 | tsp | |
pork chops | 4 | nos | |
pineapple juice | 0.5 | cup | |
toasted sesame oil | 0.5 | tsp |
Directions
- Set a grill for high indirect heat and brush it with some oil . Bring pineapple juice, vinegar, honey, mustard, turmeric ,red pepper flakes, and sesame oil, to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat and cook, mixing occasionally, until reduced, for about 10–15 minutes. Let the mixture cool. Transfer half of mixture to a small bowl and set aside as a sauce for serving.
- Season pork with salt. Over the heat for about 3-4 minutes grill the pork until browned all over. Continue to grill, turning several times and greasing it with remaining sauce, until the pork is charred and coated with a thick layer of glaze. Put the pork on the cooler part of grill and take internal temperature of it.
- If needed, continue grilling over indirect heat. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the chops near bone registers 130°, 1–5 minutes more. Transfer pork chops to a wire rack. rest it for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with reserved sauce alongside.
